ERBIE TRAILHEAD / ALUM COVE 04/14/07

Our access to the Erbie Trailhead

The mighty Buffalo (today) would not let us cross

...so we try another access point

...the mighty Cove Creek would not let us cross

Why not just hike the Buffalo Trail?

...so what were we to do?

OK!

Not a soul out today, don't know why!

A bit cool, but nice.

The Buffalo looked calm from up here

An ole settlers spring

It was a bit slick, so, not too close, please!

Across the way

...and over the bridge we go

One last look at the Buffalo

...why can't we find a way across?

Maybe next season we will make it to Thunder Canyon Falls

So, since we could not go to the Thunder, some went to the Alum

Inside of the the caves

...and some nest crevices

...and more water

A little water was found

..and yet another cave
