OWENS AND RICKETTS MT. 10/13/07

The weather was perfect.

We were ready!

We would be careful

...so UP the hill we went

Amazing bluffs

...and us looking for pictographs

This was one of many we found

...so we began to explore

....and check out the area

It was obvious, this was a good place for Indians

...and now we venture to the top

We were down there

Linda enjoying the sunshine and a nice rest

Alan finds a friend

... a nice little green snake

This time last year the leaves were about all gone.

The view was great, except for all the leaves

...so it was time to head back down

...down and back around the bluffs

We finally catch up with the rest of the gang.

...and Cheyenne decides to rock climb

....while of few of us explore the bear crack

and down we go

Eddie heading down

Quite a neat way to get down

We make it back to our vehicles for our next venture...

"LUNCH" at Ricketts Mt. (Hunter, Chris and Dee)

Doug and Jessie from Little Rock

Cheyenne, Alan and Selina

Terrence, Dorothy and Bob

Dale and Barbara

Tony and Teresa

Dee feeding Hunter his favorite food - Yogurt!

...and US on Ricketts Mt.

Wondering around this neat place

...but first...did we have a little accident?

Teresa was a trooper, in spite a "broken ankle" she hiked on!

...and some weird looking mushrooms

Cheyenne

...and mom

Pausing to get directions.  Our GPS says we are LOST!

... and a lot of bear tracks in a grotto

We found the road, so we were not LOST!

We all made it back. The weather was great.

The hike was "EASY" and company was just dandy!

It was a perfect day to be out.

Where were you?
