Crossing Buck Branch

Norma takes a different path

It was going to be a "BIG" work day

Looking down Chancel Spur

Arriving at OHT Mile Marker 118.4

Us minus Norma and me taking the picture

(Norma was back on the trail  lopping)

It didn't take long to get to work

How would you like to have to dress like this and carry a chainsaw...6.5 miles?

Mile Marker 119, only 4 more miles to go

Lots of downed trees

The rolls are rising

You would be doing this too!

David holding a "small" grapevine

We have been working on the ice storm damage for 2 years

....and hopefully today it will be completed!

This tree was part petrified

What a mess!

Mile Marker 120

We stopped at Mile Marker 120 for lunch and a little rest time

... and off we go again

Norma Senyard

Roy Senyard

Mile Marker 121

Char

Kirby, Radio and Kathy

Can you find the difference in these two pictures?

Will this ever end ...surely it will!

Dale

Mile Marker 122, one more mile to go!

It seemed like the last mile was the worst

Char and David are trying to decide if this is true ....

Don said YES!

Chis said YES

Dee and Chris were not saying!

If we had some good tools it would have been much easier!

David got a good workout working with the chainsaw guys

One last tree and we are done!

How about this for a backpack?

All of us wanted to do this!

Norma wasn't sure what she had gotten herself in to...she would talk to Roy tonight!

Heading up FR 1209 and our vehicles

It really wasn't that funny!

The home stretch

We worked our "boots" off today.

A special thanks to Roy, Norma and Chris from the OHTA and of course to those from TAKAHIK for their hard work.  We have finally gotten our section completely cut out. Yippie!
