Us at Hawksbill Crag Trailhead

This is where we would be leaving the trail and heading down to

Mule Trail Falls

Mule Trail Falls with a little water

Heading over to 1000 Kisses Falls via the scenic route!

Yes that is snow at 1000 Kisses Falls

....and yes that is a hornets nest!

Now back below Mule Trail Falls

...and up and around to the Lower Haley Falls

Paul was waiting for us way up there!

Lower Haley Falls

Upper Haley Falls

We found a way to get up and back to the trail at Haley Falls

Wasn't to bad at all.

Our first sighting of Hawksbill Crag

The snow covered bluffs across the Hawksbill Crag

After our hike we went over to Tim Ernst's Holiday Gallery Open House

and enjoyed visiting with folks, having cookies and hot cider and seeing

some fantasitic canvas prints. Saw Heldi and Mary Ann as they were leaving.

There were a lot of folks out today enjoying the outdoors.  Also visited with the Ozark Society hikers as they were heading over to Compton and Amber Falls. Did I mention it was a good day to be outdoors?
