Sweden Creek 12/22/07

Arriving at Sweden Creek Trailhead

This is what you look for

... and this is where we are

Abandoned garage

...and a very nice abandoned house

...but on we go in search of Sweden Creek Falls

...some nice bluffs along the way

Worth stopping and looking at

It was raining a little so this would do

...a little rugged, but nice

Some like the "higher" road

...but most took the lower road

We arrive at Sweden Creek Falls

....and a little water

Jimmy decides to take a closer look, and gets wet!

The rest went cave exploring!

Imagine a lot of water!

Time to find a lunch spot

Now down Sweden Creek

Not a smooth trail, right Peggy?

...and eat our lunch

...under a shelter

...and a gourmet table setting

Thanks to this tree, the boulder stayed put!

It was nice shelter and company

...but we had to go

...so we decide to take a "short cut"

...and guess what we found?

...an Elk

...but on we go, short cut you know

...or was it?

Ah, the gate, we made it back

Nice to have Nancy back

Wonder if something is going on here?

David from Springdale joined us today.  He was hoping for some peace and quiet, but we showed him different. It was great to have him along.
