First visit the First Fort Smith Site

It is a short walk and paved trails

As soon as you cross the railroad track
look for the boundary between what was once
the line between Arkansas and Indian Territory

Then visit the Old Courthouse and Jail
     

There is a fee to tour, so if you have a National
Parks Pass, bring it......it would be free then....

Sally Port.....ceil door to protect the outside door...
so prisioners would not break it down and also
so visitors can sit and visit with prisioners.
